Workshop Cancellation!-
Due to a family emergency the
UV/IR Digital Photography Workshop
scheduled for Wednesday
night has been cancelled. The recently announnced
Workshop,
Ammunition Identification and CartWinPro, will be
moved from Tuesday night to Wednesday night as an added
alternative to those who may have already registered for the
now cancelled UV/IR workshop.

Forensic Technology is proud to announce that, until
April 25, 2008, it is accepting submissions for this year’s
Calvin H. Goddard Award competition. This annual contest

2007 AFTE Scholarship Recipients-
AFTE awarded three scholarships this year. This year's Steve Molnar Award
recipient is Bonnie Floran. Two scholarships
were awarded in honor of Walter Howe, AFTE's first
president. The recipients of the Walter Howe Awards

Training Seminar 2007-
The 2007 AFTE Training Seminar
wrapped up on Friday, June 1st with several workshops.
One highlight of the week-long event was the banquet held Thursday
night. Several awards were announced and the
president's gavel was presented to the new AFTE president,
Carlo Rosati, by outgoing president Loren Sugarman.
Winner of the AFTE Member of the Year Award was Jerry
Miller and winner of this year's Steve Molnar/Key Member
Award was Mike Haag
who can be seen at right.

AFTE Glossary
5th Edition- Attention
AFTE members! The AFTE Glossary has been updated by the AFTE
Standardization/Training Committee. This updated 5th
Edition contains definitions from the glossary published by
the Small Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers Institute
(SAAMI). Also included are excerpts of terms assembled by
Luke Haag during the preparation of his book on shooting
incident reconstruction and shared with the AFTE Glossary
Committee.
