ADHOC
COMMITTEE TO INVESTIGATE THE FEASIBILITY OF AN ASSOCIATION WIDE
ELECTRONIC RECORD/APPLICATION SYSTEM
Effective date of
formation: December 4, 2004
COMMITTEE OBJECTIVE: To investigate the feasibility
of electronic record storage/flow and membership
submission/filing system.
COMMITTEE GOAL: To answer the following primary
questions and provide the AFTE BOD a suggested course of
action.
-
Is the concept of an
electronic record storage/flow and membership
submission/filing system necessary?
-
Is the concept
feasible within the scope of present membership/record
keeping flow?
-
Will the membership
benefit to justify the effort/expense?
-
If the answer to 1,
2 and 3 is affirmative, is the concept able to be
accomplished with member expertise or should an outside
vender be contracted?
-
If it is suggested
an outside vendor be contracted is it financially
feasible?
-
To what extent
should the system be incorporated? (Membership
Secretary’s file storage/online Application filing,
Secretary’s record keeping, Treasurer’s financial
records, Association Committee record keeping)
