The Needs Assessment Committee for Evaluating a Paid Staff for AFTE (Ad Hoc)

This committee will have the following goals:

• To research the feasibility of hiring a part-time staff to assist in the day to day operations of running the association.

• Compare other organizations of similar size and function and evaluate how they operate with or without a “paid” staff.

• Recommendations should be prepared for the Board of Directors to consider a list of possible options, and if appropriate, how to proceed.

• Areas that should be considered are budgetary concerns, Bylaws, hours needed, position description(s), and qualities successful candidates would possess.
