Committee to Develop and Implement an Association Appropriate Records
Management Program
(Ad Hoc)
This committee will have
the following goals:

Creating appropriate
definition of “records” and recommend standardized
storage formats.

Formulate an
appropriate records destruction program with recommended
record retention length.
-
Create archival
records of stored documents and their location (e.g.
Committee records; ethics records).
-
Retrieve, for
destruction or archiving, appropriate records from
previous Association Board and Committee members.
-
Recommendations as
set forth by the Committee will be provided to the Board
of Directors, for their final approval and
implementation, as the Association’s Policy Letter # 25
(a working draft of the policy exists).
