Forensic Digital Photography

This two-day seminar is designed to meet the needs of those working in the forensic field who need to use a digital camera as part of their duties. Focus is upon forensic requirements, protocol, and practical training in the basics of forensic photography with digital cameras, computers, and imaging software. Evidence, wound, and crime scene photography is emphasized.

Participants will learn how to use a digital camera, take good images, preserve the images, get the images into a computer, enhance or add graphics, and print the images.

This seminar is accredited by the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators for 12 hours of CEU.

The mission of the National Firearms Examiner Academy is to provide training for apprentice/entry level firearm and toolmark examiners from Federal, state and local law enforcement agencies. California Criminalistics Institute
The California Criminalistics Institute is a unit of the California Department of Justice, under the Bureau of Forensic Services, and provides specialized forensic science training to personnel who are practitioners in the field of forensic science. [more]

Forensic Science Associates - Ed Hueske
