Honolulu is located on the island of Oahu, also known as the “Gathering Place”.  Oahu is the third largest island in Hawaii and is home to numerous historic landmarks, such as the Iolani Palace and USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor, which shed light on the fascinating past of Hawaii.  Oahu is also known for attractions which include: the beaches of Waikiki where many learn to surf, snorkeling amongst a variety of reef fishes at Hanauma Bay and hiking to the top of Diamond Head for a panoramic view of the Southern coastline.

The newly renovated Ala Moana Hotel is just steps away from the Ala Moana Center, the largest open-air mall in America, and conveniently located near the Ala Moana Beach Park and Waikiki.  AFTE's 39th annual training seminar will be held May 18th thru the 23rd, 2008.
