Transportation
From the Airport: The hotel is
9 miles from the Buffalo-Niagara International Airport. The
ITA
Shuttle Service runs for a current cost of $36 round-trip to the
hotel ($18 one-way). Taxis are approximately $35 one-way. The
Niagara Frontier Transit Authority (NFTA) operates a non-stop
Airport-Downtown Express Shuttle. The service is $1.75 and on
weekdays only with a stop in front of the Hyatt. There are also
Greyhound and Amtrak stations nearby.
Around Town: The NFTA also operates the Metro-Rail system
that runs through the heart of Buffalo, with a stop directly in
front of the Hyatt at the Fountain Square stop. The Metro Rail runs
every 10 minutes and is free along the above ground portion of Main
Street.
Room Rate
The room rate for
a single/double occupancy room will be $100. Rooms will be subject to the current
prevailing local and state tax rates (currently 13.75%).
Cancellations must be made by 4PM EST, 24 hours prior to arrival. The group rate will be available 3
days prior and 3 days after the seminar based on availability. To
book your reservation identify yourself as part of AFTE 2012.
Reservations must be booked by June 8, 2012 to be eligible for the
group rate.

Guest Services
The Hyatt’s Guest Services includes
concierge, refrigerators and microwaves upon request, front desk
safe deposit boxes, soda and ice machines, and laundry and dry
cleaning services. The hotel has two on-site restaurants, a
Starbucks Coffee Bar, and room service available from
6:00AM-11:30PM. There is also a 24-hour fitness center, pool, and a
day spa available to guests. In-room internet is complementary for
seminar attendees.

Attractions and Activities
There are over 30 restaurants within
5 blocks of the hotel. Coca Cola Field, home of the Buffalo Bisons
AAA baseball team, is a short, free Metro Rail ride away. The Hyatt
is blocks from Buffalo’s famed Chippewa Entertainment District as
well as Shea’s Performing Arts Center. Both Niagara Falls and the
Niagara Gaming district are a 20 minute drive from downtown Buffalo.
Additionally, the Niagara and Finger Lakes Wine Regions are within
driving distance. Other nearby activities include the Theodore
Roosevelt Inaugural Site, The Buffalo Museum of Science, Buffalo
Transportation Pierce Arrow Museum, the Buffalo and Erie County
Naval and Servicemen’s Park, The Albright-Knox Art Gallery, and Six
Flags Darien Lake. Don’t forget a visit to the home of the original
Buffalo Wings—the Anchor Bar.
