The AFTE webmaster is looking for an assistant who can help with the day-to-day operations of the web site.  This is a volunteer position on the AFTE Web Site Committee open to members of the Association of Firearm & Tool Mark Examiners.

 

In addition to having experience in web design, the ideal candidate should have the following qualifications.

Proficiency in the use of the following applications:

• Microsoft FrontPage or other web-design software.

• FTP software such as CuteFTP.

• Other Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Publisher and Access

• flat-file databases

• Adobe Acrobat

• Adobe Photoshop/Ulead PhotoImpact

• AllWebMenus

Experience in the use and modification of the following computer languages:

• cgi

• perl

• php

• mySQL

• java

• shockwave

• asp

In addition to the above qualifications the idea candidate will also need to have good written/oral communication skills.
