The Member of the Year award
committee is actively soliciting recommendations from the
membership for this prestigious award.
Any member of the Association may nominate another member
for this award. Please use the “AFTE MEMBER OF THE YEAR
RECOMMENDATION FORM” or provide the same information an
alternate written format. Nominations must be received no
later than April 1st of the year.
Criteria for Consideration for this award:

The individual must be a
member of AFTE, in any membership category.

The individual must have
contributed significantly to the association in one or
more of the following manners:
-
Service to the Association over a period of time as
a member of the Board of Directors or in committee
functions
-
Significant record of
publication and/or presentation of papers in the
AFTE Journal/AFTE Seminars. This can include
technical notes, novel research, validation research
or any publication that would enhance the knowledge
of practitioners in the forensic sciences
-
Established record of
organization and provision of workshops or other
training programs for the membership
-
Any other significant
contributions to the improvement of our forensic
discipline or the forensic science profession
