Yuma Proving Ground Forensic Test

A reminder to all that plan to attend the 2003 Yuma Proving Ground Forensic Test Session; Dec. 12 is fast approaching. The test session will be Dec. 12 and 13 this year, a week later than originally announced.

If you will be attending, you must let Bill Morris (azmorris@aol.com) know by the end of November, only those on this years security list will be able to enter the base. If you are a new attendee you must have your security data to Bill by that time, this includes Name, Address, Phone #, Soc. Security #, DOB, POB. Those who have attended in the past need not update their information, if changes have not occurred, but must notify Bill of your intent to attend.

Please remember that you must also provide Bill (azmorris@aol.com) a list of all firearms and ammunition you will be bringing to the test session. No firearms that have not been listed on the security lists will be allowed on base. If you have scheduled a test it is your responsibility to provide Bill with the list of firearms and ammunition you are bringing for that test. Include make, model and caliber. The same deadline applies.

If you wish to schedule a test, and have not already done so, you need to contact me (James.Roberts@mail.co.ventura.ca.us) with a written proposal before the end of November. We have a number of tests scheduled already. I will need all of your information on the tests no later than one week after that. I will let you know what is not in the written proposal that I still need. A list of tests for the radar technicians must be prepared in advance with data they need to set up for each test. Those who are doing high speed photo tests please include caliber and make of firearm in your proposals as well as a thorough description of how the tests will be conducted and any special equipment you will need or any construction that will need to be done on sight.

Those that want more information about the test session may also contact Bill or me. For a copy of the flyer on this years session contact me.
