Washington DC Metro PD Job Announcement

The Metropolitan Police Department located in Washington, DC is seeking a fully trained and court qualified contract firearms examiner to conduct forensic examinations in the area of firearms, toolmarks, fracture identification, gunshot residue analysis, serial number restoration, and shooting incident reconstructions.  The contract firearms examiner shall also provide academic and practical training instruction to four (4) firearms examiners in training.

The rate of compensation is $75.00 per hour and the targeted duration is from November 15, 2004 - September 30, 2005.
