The 2012 Eastern Regional AFTE Conference Fall Training Seminar Hosted by: FBI Laboratory, Firearms/Toolmarks Unit

Thursday,  October 18th, 2012
8:00 am 4:30 pm at the FBI Laboratory Training Facility, Dumfries, Virginia
Thursday will be classroom instruction with presentations and papers - research and case studies.

Location of meeting 10/18: 17133 Dumfries Road, Dumfries, VA 22025
Directions: Coming from D.C. take I95 South, take exit 152B towards Manassas and merge onto VA-234, make first right and then another immediate right on Dewey Blvd. The entrance gate is behind the Craker Barrel on the left.

Friday, October 19th, 2012
8:00 am - 1:00 pm at the FBI Academy, Quantico, Virginia 22135
Friday we will be visiting facilities at the FBI Academy to include our Defensive Systems Unit which performs ammunition and firearms testing - a must see.


If you are planning to attend you must contact us before September 20th (limited space), we will need your full name, agency affiliation, and social security number. Without this information you will not be admitted on the FBI Academy the day of the event.

Those planning to stay for both days, there are numerous lodging and restaurant choices at the Dumfries location.
